Creation of New Photofunctional Materials Based on Cooperative Effects
Our research attempts to create highly functional and high-performance materials based on polymers, liquid crystals and light. Using liquid-crystalline polymers and block copolymers, we try to control microscopic structures at the molecular level and improve macroscopic properties of materials. The main target of our project is to create light energy conversion materials such as photovoltaic and photomobile materials.
